The Great Barrier Reef's dream job is attracting jobseekers from all over the world,Due to Recession the World Most Wanted terrorist, Osama bin Laden, has also applied for the job of caretaker on Hamilton Island.
According a video posted on YouTube, Bin Laden claims he is the ideal candidate for the job, citing his familiarity with "sandy areas" and experience in "large scale event co-ordination".
"I've got experience with videos and delegating tasks," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted him as saying.
"My interests include arts and craft and renovating. I'm outgoing and fun loving," he added.
Tourism Queensland has confirmed that the person using the notorious terrorist's name has given an official application for the position.
"While we encourage people to be creative in their applications, they have to meet the selection criteria, including appropriate content, if they want to be considered for the job," a Tourism Queensland spokeswoman said.
